Well I didn’t end up going. For three reasons. Firstly the very thought of sharing a vehicle with complete strangers some of whom may be diseased, scares me. Secondly it was raining and I didn’t really want to have to walk in the rain, which is the main problem with public transport, it doesn’t take you where you want to go. And thirdly they don’t do test-drives on fridays. So I thought I would go today, but didn’t as I ended up going to town.

However I shall have another attempt at the whole communal vehicle thing another time…
